While the historic Duvall Street is of course the best place to shop with many interesting boutiques and gift shops lined along the street there are many other shopping places that are unique to Key West. Find yourself a nice Key West luxury hotel and enjoy shopping at any of the following great places.

Clinton Street Market: The Clinton Street Market is located at Mallory Square at the end of Duvall Street and is home to some of the most elegant hat and shoe stores. You can also find an excellent selection of candy and coffee shops here.

Duvall Street: In between the large number of T-shirt stores lining this street, you can also find unique boutiques and shops selling the work of local craftsmen. Galleries and shops selling local or Caribbean art are spread throughout Duvall Street, between Fleming Street and Catherine Street. You might want to check out the Haitian Art Co. that is located on Frances Street where you can look through a large number of original paintings from both well-known and lesser-known Haitian painters. Though some cost over a few thousand, you should be able to find one you like for a few dollars as well. Cuba, Cuba!, also on Duvall Street, on the other hand has a wonderful collection of sculptures, paintings and photos of predominantly Cuban artists as well as books and other informative material about the island.

Conch Republic Cigar Factory: Though cigar making was once the main industry of Key West, it took quite a hit in the years between. The cigar factories are now making a slow recovery and you can visit the Conch Republic Cigar Factory to look at and buy some excellent locally rolled cigars.

Key Lime Pie: Along with the cigars, Key West is also highly popular for its lime pie and the Key Lime Pie Co. in particular is well known for its pies and cookies. You can find one store at Caroline Street and the other at Greene Street.

Key West Aloe - Located on Front Street, this store has been successfully selling shampoos, lotions and balms for the last thirty years becoming part of the local history itself. In fact, if you would like to indulge in some tropical perfumes, this is the perfect place with the main shop selling vanilla and hibiscus scents as well.

Glass Reunions: For a unique shopping and gifting experience, you could try visiting Glass Reunions on Duvall Street. Here you will find some of the most exquisitely designed stain glass pieces from the artist Greg McDonald and also work from over 200 contemporary American artists. You could take a look at some fine gold and silver jewelry and creative lighting that are part of the collection.
